David Cowgill has a broad and diverse background in Internet Marketing specifically with Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO). He is best known in the CRM industry for his accomplishments with Internet Marketing, helping to establish standards and solutions to grow the market.Mr. Cowgill also brings to the table an excellent skill set that few professionals possess in today’s complex world of Internet Marketing.
His 14+ years of experience spans the computer and software industries where he has helped many companies turn their web sites into the sales generating machines they were intended to be. His career includes successful senior and director level web marketing and management assignments at Siebel Systems and Salesforce.com. While at Oracle Corporation, Mr. Cowgill was lead developer of the support sales team. While at Siebel Systems, Mr. Cowgill led a team that introduced data mining, personalization, and highly effective lead generation marketing campaigns.
He has recently been featured in an AMA (American Marketing Association) webinar titled “Divide and Conquer with Visitor Segmentation” where he discusses ways to improve web site conversion rates and effectively target more profitable visitor segments.
